If you have Windows Vista, you can transfer from iPod to Comuter with manual.

Go to Control Panel-> Classic View-> Folder Options-> View and in a list below click the bubble for Show hidden files and folders and exit out.

Afterward, go to Computer-> (iPod sign)-> iPod_Control. Copy the file labled Music.

Find and open your iTunes Music folder, create a new folder and paste the other folder into it. When that finishes, right-click the new folder and go to Properties. Where it says Attributes, unclick Hidden.

That’s it. Just make sure to go back to the Control Panel and hide all the hidden folders again. Simple as pie. Hope that helps.

If you’re using OSX, I highly recommend an app called Podworks. The full version does cost money (only $8) but I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s worked flawlessly for me in many situations including the dreaded hard drive death.

I’m sure everybody has their own app preferences though and it was a good article for showing how to do it for free.

Also, not trying to be creepy but I’m not afraid to say that you are smokin’ hot and if you are actually this good at tech writing, being a video personality, and you’re still this early in your career then you can definitely go far.

It’s great, and I also know a step by step guide showing how to finish the transfer work with high speed.

It helps me transfer songs, movies, photos from iPod to iTunes, iPod to iPod, iPod to computer local disk and restore files for iPod or iPhone without any erasing.

TouchCopy is a much better option. It works on PCs and Macs and will transfer music, photos and more from your iPod, iPhone or iPad to your computer or straight to iTunes.
